A
detailed inspection followed up by a detailed, sectionalised report. The report
gives details of the construction of the building and a condition appraisal,
internally and externally, of each component part, e.g. main walls, structural
stability, damp, timber defects, load bearing adequacy of walls and partitions,
roof frame and coverings, floors, plaster, chimneys and flues, brick and block
work, joinery, insulation, ventilation etc. Historic and architectural features
will be brought to your atention. There is a section dealing with services,
including an overview of plumbing, heating, drainage, storm water, wiring, kitchen
and sanitary fittings and decorations. Finally, we will draw conclusions and
make recommendations as to your next move. We will be pleased to discuss the
survery with you afterwards and recommend appropriate building traders or arrange
management of those works if required.
